ADVENTURE
CRUISING
Juneau - Icy
Straits - Glacier Bay - Admiralty Island
MV Wilderness Adventurer
Tour
189
Because
Southeast Alaska is in a constant state of change,
from daily weather patterns, to the migration and
feeding habits of its wildlife, every day of your
Wilderness Adventurer itinerary holds the promise of
adventure. Aboard our ship, we have the flexibility
to linger in areas where whales may be feeding, or
choose to kayak among the calm waters of an isolated
inlet, or stay to witness the amazing activity of a
glacier as it “calves” huge chunks of ice into
the water below. We’ve designed our cruise route
to include the wilderness areas as described,
allowing the flexibility to alter our itinerary to
accommodate the special surprises that occur in
nature every day.
The itinerary described here is an example of each
day’s planned objectives. The sequence of
activities will vary depending on the season, park
entry dates, and wildlife sightings. Your
experienced Captain will seek out the best kayaking
destinations, and shore landings for nature walks as
well as wildlife viewing opportunities. This is a
rewarding cruise and the adventure of a lifetime.
