Glacier
Bay Country Inn is a recommended alternative to the
accommodations at Glacier Bay Lodge. Selected for the friendly
personality and high standard of guest activities, Glacier Bay
Country Inn is found amidst the pine and hemlock forest near
Gustavus. The main lodge is a multi-gabled, storybook-style
building in the true standard of a high quality Country Inn. The
atmosphere is elegant, yet informal, a place where you can feel
at ease and enjoy the company of fellow guests from around the
world. |
| The
cuisine is excellent and meals are served in a charming dining
room where conversations center on the day's fishing and
humpback whale viewing. Wildlife sightings are common near the
Inn, attracted by the abundant wild strawberries; black bears
and their cubs may be seen grazing. Moose stroll across the
front yard and eagles are spotted everywhere. Rooms in the Inn
are comfortable, most with queen-sized beds and private bath.
Individual, hand built cabins are tastefully furnished and
clustered around the Inn. |

01 |
Depart
from Juneau to Gustavus from the Auk Bay ferry dock (scheduled
flight for Haines and Skagway departures). Upon arrival in
Gustavus, you will embark on a 3 hour whale watching cruise to
Pt. Adolphus. Dinner included, and overnight Glacier Bay Country
Inn.

02 |
After
a hearty breakfast at the Inn, transfer is provided to Bartlett
Cove. Here you will board a high-speed catamaran to cruise into
Glacier Bay National Park. Lunch is included on board the
vessel. Park rangers are aboard to provide interpretive
information. Return to Bartlett Cove in the late afternoon.
Overnight Glacier Bay Country Inn. All meals included.

03 |
Breakfast
at the Inn. Airport transfer scheduled for convenience
with flight schedules. Depart Gustavus on a scheduled
flight to Juneau. Tour concludes upon your arrival in Juneau. |

transfer and one way air from Juneau to Gustavus, 3-hour whale
watching cruise in Icy Straits, full-day Glacier Bay catamaran cruise
with lunch,
2 nights accommodations at Glacier Bay Country Inn, meals as
